The Blackjack Industrial Clips can be easily retrofitted to any helmet or hard hat. Once in place, the
clips are used to safely secure headlamps, goggles, or other accessories to your hard hat or helmet, keeping them in place and giving you easy accessibility and peace of mind in any situation. Install Blackjack Industrial Clips in
Clear your hard hat of accessories and remove any decals that cover an area (the 11, 1, 5, and 7 O’clock positions) in which Blackjack Industrial Clips will be placed. Thoroughly clean the same areas.
Remove the 3M VHB adhesive backing from the Blackjack Industrial Clips before adhering to the surface of the hard hat.
With the opening of the clips facing down, adhere the 2 largest clips to the 5 and 7 O’clock positions on your hard hat. Press firmly to the surface of the hard hat for at least 15 seconds . Ensure that the full surface area of the adhesive is in contact with the hard hat.
Again with the opening of the clips facing DOWN, adhere the 2 smaller clips to the 11 and 1 O’clock positions on your hard hat. Press firmly to the surface of the hard hat for at least 15 seconds . Ensure that the full surface area of the adhesive is in contact with the hard hat.
IMPORTANT – The adhesive bond strengthens with time. Allow at least 12 hours to set. The adhesive bonds will reach 100% strength within 72 hours.
